misterd
I found in the forum, to "get" the JaS 10.4.8 etc etc and "the same" name ppf..... good.... but now I would like to ask: you think is it possible to get sound from the card? you think is it possible to use the sata drives? thanks Edited February 10, 2007 by misterd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41867-osx-on-a-intel-pc-mac/#findComment-299357 Share on other sites
chevy2410
You don't need windows installed! I'm assuming this is going to be your second machine? Get the JaS 10.4.8 install dvd, burn the ISO. Once done put it in the intended machine and make sure to set the boot order in the bios to boot from the cd\dvd drive. Once that is done boot the disc and start the install process. It may take a few minutes to boot that dvd, so be patient. It will eventually boot. Good luck, Chevy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41867-osx-on-a-intel-pc-mac/#findComment-299365 Share on other sites

chevy2410
You will have to find if anyopne is working on that Sigmatel* 9220/9223 audio. I'm not sure if it's as common as some of the others. The other thing to is buy an inexpensive supported pci audio card. Glad you got it all working except the audio. Chevy. chevy2410
I have that same Intel GMA950 graphics and on mine it sees it as 256mb. In the install did you check off the gma 950 or gma 900 graphics? chevy2410
That could be it. If you put the install disc back in and browse through it, you will find the package that has the GMA950 installer and install it. I think, but I don't know for sure, should fix your issue. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think it will screw anything up as far as I'm aware. At worst case it takes another 20min to reinstall OSX. You might just want to backup your current install. chevy2410
Sorry to hear that. It could just be a glitch. When you go to "about this Mac", does it throw you back to your login screen? I was just wondering. Cheers, Chevy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41867-osx-on-a-intel-pc-mac/#findComment-302694 Share on other sites
