I have an interresting problem, when I first install Jas 10.4.8 it picks up my Network wireless card Dell 1490 up as the ethernet (en0) card. This works fine while I am at home and using the same wireless network. When I start itunes and need to authorise my computer to play purchased music from itunes everthing works fine. Now to get the Airport working so that I can use wireless anywhere, I have to do the en0 to en1 switch. Now my wireless card is detected as Airport card but after this Itunes give the famous Not enough memory error while trying to authorise machine again (not sure why it's trying to authorise again after it detects network device change) and I am stuck. Either have iTunes working an wireless that is not working properly or have working wireless and have no Itunes. Anybody else had this problem and a way around it? Headrush69 Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 I don't have the link handy, but someone on another thread mentioned that somehow there seems to be a connection between the MAC address originally used to get the songs from iTunes and authorization. No solution when using a different network card as been found yet.
