Hi guys, new kid on the block here, yarr :)

Im wondering if i can run OSX 10.4.7 on this:

AMD Athlon64 3700+ (ClawHammer Socket 754 - MMX, 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2 x86-64 - no SSE3)

ATi Radeon9700Pro (Mobile)

Realtek AC97 Soundcard

RaLink2500 WiFi (MiniPCI)

1GB Ram

80GB HD

and stuff like that :)

the mobo is from Uniwill and is a 258KA0 - SiS 755/755FX Chipset

if you could answer me on this - that would be awesome! thanks!

Not easily, and not well.

The AMD processor will require you to get an AMD patched version of the disc. (Not a big deal).

Sound will work.

Wireless probably won't work.

You won't get accelerated graphics (which sucks)

Sis chipsets have no support from OS X. Maybe you can possibly find some fixes to boot, but most likely disk problems, shutdown, startup, and usb might not work.

All current JaS releases have support for AMD

Your video will work fine QE/CI/GL

Your sound card should work

Your Wi/Fi don't know you need to find the chipset it uses

As for SiS chipset there is some support for it but it is limited

Take the time and read up on your components on the Wiki

What brand of laptop do you have that will help us more?

cant disable pccard bus or USB legacy support.. ive tried disabling my touchpad (PS/2) but thats as far as i can go with this bios.. :)

also tried -x no work either..

ive read on other parts of the forum that it could be a PS2 related error, but that sounds odd since its complaining about an FPU error.. hmm?
