enoree
changed MB from an ASUS K8V SE Deluxe to a MSI K8N NEO Platinum and Everything worked right out of the gate, full 6.1 sound, dual monitors, NIC card, USB, 1394. much better install than with the ASUS board. BebopBlues
I have an Asus K8V-SE Deluxe, sound works if I plug the speakers into the LineOut jack (red). The only problem I'm having with 10.4.8 is slow network file transfer from wndows shared to OSX. It transfers fine the opposite direction, from OSX to Windows though. enoree
On my ASUS I could only get 1 channel of sound, not 5.1. I have my OSX on a 20GB WD IDE drive and my Vista on a 160GB WD IDE drive, both in native mode and just use my CMOS setup to select which drive to boot from, that lets both OS'es work at full speed and both seem to have no hiccups so far.
