alarustic
I have a Dell PC on which I installed OS X (the tiger version). It runs off it's own drive. I added the SSE2 patches and it was running nicely. I installed the following to try enable my GeForce5200: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=36435&hl= But now it won't boot Is there any way I can rescue it? Or do I need to do a complete reinstall? I does reach the 'Starting Mac Os' slider, it just sits with the Apple on the screen with lots of HD activity, forever! It's the same in safe mode, too. Any help appreciated. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41238-wont-boot-possible-to-rescue/ Share on other sites
np101137
first i would try this: boot into single user mode (-s at startup) do the following commands: cp -R /System/Library/Extensions/Titan.kext / rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/Titan.kext reboot now when it reboots, enter -f -v at startup That may fix it... alarustic
Thanks. I tried it but it didn't seem to work. When booting in verbose mode the last thing it says is 'nothing found to load.'!
