Hi,

I couldnt load iTunes neither Aperture, do need some extra hardware?

Itunes complains about lack of memory (i have 1 GB so i dont believe that!)

Aperture says that i don't have the system requirements.

I have a P4?

Do you think this applications need any special instruction?

Cheers,

Nuno

iTunes 7 seems ot have issues running on any system that has a processor that doesn't support SSE3. The only way around that is to buy a newer processor that does support SSE3 or to upgrade to the newest Semthex kernel on Mac 10.4.8 (beta 9). With the recent JaS 1-4.48 SSE2.SSE3.Intel.AMD release, I was able to get iTunes running on a SSE2 only Pentium M processor without rosetta. Aperture seems very picky about hardware. I haven't been able to get it to install on any machine I have tried it on, including a Pentium D machine with SSE3 and fully supported GMa950 graphics (same as Macbook and Mac Mini). I don't know what the deal with it is.

I tried JaS's latest (JaS SSE2 SSE3 Intel AMD PPF1 and included diskutil fix), and also tubgirls's FINAL 1048 releases and they both worked fine with my AMD64 3000+ CPU. You definitely need the latest kernel patch from semthex (included in the mentioned release). You can find it in the little green demon.
