Xanix
Hello. My Amd system based on Jas 10.4.8 was working good. Installed Jas dvd, Titan and everyting was ok. Quadro FX 3000 recogniced but no CI or QE. So, as I needed Apple Aperture, I tried to install the Natit Uni pkg. System boots ok, but, when going to the login windows it goes black! I know that the system and the card are working but the screen stay's black. I'm going to reinstall everithing. But I want/need CI and QE working... Can anyone explain to a real noob the right way to install natit and have CI and QE working on a Nvidia Quadro 3000? Thank's in advance for the help. XQYZ
Just edit the plist.info inside your NVidia40.kext File (subfolder "Content") by putting in your device id and put them all in the Extension Folder. There should be lots of HowTos around here. Perhaps even for your card (or at least one that's nearly the same one). ghsu3d
hey man i'm running on a dual xeon box with a quadro fx 3000, i got full support running fcp/shake/maya opengl and video i got a jas 10.4.8 sse2/sse3/amd realese that had nanite installed in it allready, allmost everything worked without a hitch i recommend reinstalling with that release not sure about amd support but as long as the software is designed for intel macs and not needing to be run via rosseta, its usable for actual work. wouldnt reccomnend it for anything other then fcp and studio appz though ps quadro fx 3000 running via natit package that was installed dirctly with the osx install from the boot disk Edited February 2, 2007 by ghsu3d Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40891-destroyed-good-working-system-trying-to-install-natit/#findComment-292276 Share on other sites
