nav Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 So today i installed Vista ultimate on my intel imac. i got a 4.4 rating and thats because video card is 128mb. anyways i didnt delete anything. still running tiger (which is still the best!!!) but vista is damn sexy on mac. anyways i had winxp installed from bootcamp and then just inserted the vista cd and upgraded. went very fast and smooth. all the drivers are found except sound card and isight. and also keyboard buttons dont work. if anyone can help i would appriaciate it! thanks. will upload pics soon. Fossie Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 I did the exact same thing today! To get sound I went to C:\program files\macintosh drivers.... and then realtek. Just run the setup. If that isn't there, try running the mac drivers disk made with bootcamp, then see if the folder is there. The imacs internal speakers dont work, but when i plug in speakers or my headset i get sound!!!! guess i cant use the imac speakers . also my keyboard volume control works too. I got the SigmTel hd 92xx drivers from dell website now im only left to figure out. USB driver which im not that worried about, and the performance counters..what is that? can anyone help?
