asap18 Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I for one am probably expecting a new macbook small revision to santa rosa platform with wimax, and santa rosa (higher fsb) in junish/late summer, Maybe they will add the new merom EE to the mbp. However mid time 2008 i fully expect pernyn (45 nm quad core) in macbooks and macbook pros. Yeah, its kind of hard to find this info, but its all speculation, after all Apple is not so predictable. jonz14 Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Just remember this, Apple is extremely unpredictable and leaks NOTHING, and you may as well buy the notebook now and be happy with it because Apple is always gonna come out with new stuff that will make yours seem like less of a machine, but I bought a Core Duo MacBook after the Core 2s were released and I am extremely happy with it and don't really care that it is a tad out dated because it does everything I need to do. But according to the MacRumors buying guide, the Macbook is "mid-product cycle" and the average days between updates are 204 and we are on day 84.
