FilippoAMD
Hi all, I'm trying to install the OSX86 image: "JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3" on my system configuration: 939Dual-SATA2 LAN: Realtek RTL8201CL 10/100 Ethernet LAN PHY Audio: Realtek 850 7.1channel AC'97 audio codec SATA2: PCI-E SATA2 controller JMB360 (in IDE mode) AMD Athlon64 3700+ (SSE3) 2x512MB DDR Memory Radeon 9800pro (R360) AGP 8x Maxtor SATAII -> 20GB (Pri, Boot, Act, NTFS) 10GB (Act, HSF+) 20GB (Act, NTFS) 80GB (Act, NTFS) So, I've followed this installation guide (the installation was well done), when I rebooted (using Acronis OS Selector) and I started the darwin loader it locks into an error message... Should I try another version of OSX86 or should I solve in another way? spuke
Try the latest one, pop it in, install, choose the patches you need for your system and it will 99% work out of the box. No need for installation guides anymore :censored2:. bushmills
I have the same mainboard rev1 (bios 2.30). One Hdd on ide1 and two CDR on ide2. I used "10.4.8 final tubgirl" at the native install. It runs very nice, but with no onboard-Sound and Lan. Thats no problem, i have an Intel Pro 100 and an USB-Soundcard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/40390-installing-osx86-on-asrock-939dual-sata2/#findComment-291794 Share on other sites
FilippoAMD
So, the error could be generated by my SATA and not IDE disk?
