dragonpool
It happened to me too. The problem is that Vista is not using the driver from bootcamp, but the built-in one. What you need to to is to switch to the bootcamp driver. You need go to Device Manager in Control Panel and right click on the current driver, select Properties in the menu. Then go to Driver page and choose Update Driver. (Missing hunderds of words here). koekje
I have a 1st generation 15inch macbook pro and have the same problem. Tried different drivers, but no luck as of yet. The 1.1.2 bootcamp driver for the sigmatel gives an error, something about the driver not being able to start up the device. The volume mixer says "no audo device installed". When I use the sigmatel drivers for a dell laptop, the drivers load ok, but there still is no sound. I think it has something to do with the registry settings, have looked around in the other topics for the gpio settings, tried those, but still no sound. Maybe someone with a 1st generation 15" mbp can export the sigmatel registry settings? Adrian Fogge
Nylock, it is official... you are a god. Maybe a Centaur or a Nymph, one of those greatly unappreciated ones but vital to the mythology.
