Azureus provides more details and perhaps functionality, but much of that is unneeded for the average end user. And it's a resource hog. Gore 2008? That's a joke, right? Are there any torrent programs (besides azureus which uses too much resources for my liking) that allow you to select which files in a torrent you want to download? I usually use Transmission, and Azureus when I need to.
