Vertigo50
I mentioned to you in PM's that I have an M-Audio Audiophile card, and that it has drivers, but I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't work with OSx86. OS X doesn't support PCI soundcards very well, apparently, so most people are just using firewire or USB solutions. MacOSMatt
ok, there is a wiki that says all this stuff: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.7 or if u want 2 guaranteed cards with no patches, get: Pci soundcard: CT4810 (great for value, got mine for $5 of trademe.co.nz) ~ there are better cards out there tho, this one starts to distort after about 10 min of playback, goes normal once u pause and replay etc. Cmedia 9761A 5.1 seems the way to go though. Pci ethernet: Realtek 8139 (once again great for value, $20 of trademe.co.nz) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39481-what-one-should-i-buy/#findComment-281556 Share on other sites
