davorin
As some might be using Parallels with software that uses serial ports I looked around what could be the easiest way to connect to those virtual serial ports under OSX... 1. Install "minicom" from Darwin ports...(sudo port install minicom) 2. Setup the serial port under Parallels as a "socket" 3. Configure the serial port under minicom as a socket, this would be like "unix#/private/tmp/serial" The prepended "unix#" tells minicom to use a socket instead of a character device... cheers davorin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39431-parallels-and-serial-ports/ Share on other sites
