alloutmacstoday
it's not your system that's not letting u do it, it's the actual network Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39374-how-to-override-airport-passwords/#findComment-280619 Share on other sites
asap18
Yeah this is a piece of cake, not if you could do this than why would someone put encryption on it. Although you can sometimes break WEP keys (very weak, but it is the default) If you have a compatible wireless card look here http://kismetwireless.net Also I dont recommend you try this, cracking and breaking into a router is similar to breaking into a house, ITS ILLEGAL. captainsquash
Yes but if a wireless signal (or house) falls on top of you, is it illegal? - Joking Joking - I'm against breaking into wireless networks too. To answer your question, no. Unless you reset the router, you're not going to be accessing it without a WEP or WPA key if it's encrypted. Like asap18 said, Kismet is good for breaking into wireless networks. You may be interested in KisMAC as it has (mostly) the same functionality of kismet in a cushy GUI. You can grab KisMAC here. Good luck. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39374-how-to-override-airport-passwords/#findComment-280674 Share on other sites
