Roy Jovero
Hi everyone. These might be stupid questions, but is there a way to hide the Macintosh HD (and Windows partiton) icon on the desktop? I just want to have a totall blank desktop. Also, is there a way to change the Windows partition icon and/or label? The label doesn't bother me too much, but I would like to make it say Windows. And I have a couple cool icons I'd like to use for that partition instead of the hard drive icon. Thanks in advance. Xenctuary
Finder's settings menu has options for displaying and hiding different types of desktop items (including hard drives). quixos
Camouflage is free, it hides/shows all desktop icons. most importantly unlike other pay programs i've tried... "drag & drop: drag files on the desktop and they will be copied onto your real desktop." http://www.briksoftware.com/products/camouflage/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38925-desktopicon-tweaks/#findComment-281742 Share on other sites
