munky
so im building a hackintosh HTPC, but the video converter box is limited to 1024x768. Front Row works fine, but the fonts are a bit big, and you cant really read some of the titles. any chance it can be hacked to use smaller fonts? Adrian Fogge
It is not set anywhere in one of the configuration files in /System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row/Contents/Resources There is all of the localization data in there, but they are simply a set of variables that are called elsewhere. There wasn't anything meaningful in the FRApplicationSuite files either, just things to make sure that Front Row starts and stops correctly. It could be that it was hard coded into the executable which could make it difficult to locate without a lot more effort than I am willing to put in right now. On another note though, it would be extraordinarily easy to reskin Frontrow if someone actually wanted to put some time into it. munky
yeah... funnily enough I reskinned MediaCentral last night with the resources from Front Row. gave up tho, cos MC's tv module is reallly crappy and unstable (at least on my MBP). hey - thanks for trying, anyway Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38760-front-row-font-size/#findComment-277092 Share on other sites
