eze Posted October 27, 2005 Share Posted October 27, 2005 hi: everything works fine on my machine except preview. it opens pdf fine but when i try to open a tiff file or jpg i only get a grey background. any similar experiences? thanks in advance pd. in iphoto they show up. hmmm please delete it from this folder. lilitz Posted October 27, 2005 Share Posted October 27, 2005 1) You fix this by right-clicking preview.app from your applications directory, selecting "Get Info", and selecting "Open using Rosseta." 2) Wrong forum. This is the news forum. I take it you didn't search around for an answer very hardly. This problem is commonplace and the solution has been posted in numerous places. :-/ Yep Wrong forum. Use iPhoto for pictures. I more the video card you use than the machine. Preview works with "Run with Rosetta". Also you can use Safari or QuickTime to view pictures, Safari loads faster than iPhoto.
