Hi

I am totally new to this project (OSX on x86) although I have quite a bit of experience on Windows and Linux machines. I also have a Mac, so not completely alien to me.

I have a PC and laptop, both of which are AMD processors but only support SSE and not SSE2. Can OSX be installed on these machines? I am busy downloading a 10.4.6 DVD but don't want to continue if I'm wasting my time (and bandwidth).

Thanks

Cobus

You just can't natively install OS X without SSE2 at least; you've got two ways of emulating it tho'. PearPC (PPC Mac OS) or QEMU (only 10.4.1, newer versions rely on EFI and refuse to work under qemu). PearPC is slow as hell, and QEMU is even worse. It's up to you ;)
