gotoh
That did the trick, thanks! But from what I understand it is running in safe mode, how can I fix the problem? And btw, I had to reconnect the mouse and keyboard from the USB port for the OS to recognize it... now try with -legacy only switch... only -x is safe mode. Legacy switch diseables 64bit (but you won't notice the difference) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37966-trying-to-install-osx86-wont-boot-will-pay-for-help/page/2/#findComment-271728 Share on other sites
gotoh
My only problem now... NO sound. My mobo uses realtek audio drivers, but neither of the ports recognise headphones or speakers . I didn't see realtek drivers either. On their site, they have a unix driver, intentded for linux, but since it's unix it should work right? I guess I'll give it a go. I am installing my old version of mac photoshop cs1 as we speak. THe only problem, is that mac seems somewhat laggy.. not sure why, but I suppose I can live with it. Also, anyone know how I can change the screen resolution? What's your onboard realtek Audio Codec ? If it is ALC88x try one of the patches made by skippyretard here : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry259784 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37966-trying-to-install-osx86-wont-boot-will-pay-for-help/page/2/#findComment-271732 Share on other sites
