Hi there!

I recently downloaded the newest Jas iso, and burned it to a dvd.

I am using a core 2 duo machine. ANd I have 2 sata drives. 1 with windows, and 1 blank.

What is the first stept o installing mac using this dvd onto the second, blank hard drive.

Should I start by partitioning the drive to fat32?

The first step is backup your windows partition becuase if you make a mistake you loose that one, or disconnect it becuase you have two hd's

when booted from dvd you can use the apple disutil to partion and format the drive

ps and its easier if you what hardware you have in your computer. becuase you can insatll some packages but only if you know your hardware. use google if you dont know that yet

I have core 2 duo e6600

asus p5w dh deluxe mobo

2 x 1gb corsair ram

and I already know my video card is not compatible w/ mac. (radion pro)

WHat is step two? put int he dvd, and boot from it?

then, format the entire drive in mac osx journaled?
