Numberzz
I know i must have done something wrong, but I have no sound in any QuickTime videos. No sound in the QuickTime application, no sound in my 2 days of video in iTunes. When I put the videos on my iPod, the sound is clear. Eve when I put it at the highest (16 on my computer and 100 on my external speakers, which is pretty loud). Please help. BTW, all my music in iTunes plays perfectly. Anyone else have this problem? asap18
Try going to Applications-Utilities-Audio MIDI Setup. Change the properties box to audio output and hit configure speakers. asap18
If you try them in VLC, and they work, then that means it is definitely a codec problem. Try Perian if thats the case http://perian.org Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37824-no-sound-in-quicktime-videos/#findComment-269613 Share on other sites
Numberzz
If you try them in VLC, and they work, then that means it is definitely a codec problem. Try Perian if thats the case http://perian.org They did not work in VLC, when I opened them i got an error and no video. It says I am playing an audio file, but there is no sound. When I play them in Tiger they work, but I can't go back to Tiger while preserving user accounts. There will be another build from MacWorld(second Teusday of the Month), so maybe it will work then.
