jim4096
Hello folks A "friend" has got OSX running on his Shuttle XPC. Seems to me that the lowdown on this whole OSX on any Intel box malarkey boils down to yes you can get the OS to run but as for drivers for specific bits of hardware, good luck! Is that pretty much the long and short of it? For example he can't find proper drivers for his Radeon 7500 card (clone not ATI) so doesn't have dual monitor support. Anyway my "friend" was hoping he could use an Apple Wireless Keyboard/Mouse on his OSX running Intel box. The Intel box in question doesn't have bluetooth as standard so he'd need some kind of additional hardware (PCI/USB etc). What are the chances of bluetooth working? Any recommendations as to a suitable bluetooth adaptor? Laters. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/37531-will-bluetooth-work/ Share on other sites

orion
Dear members, I was wondering if any of you experienced any problem with the bluetooth mouse whose wheel did not work at all. If you did how did you solve the problem... In my case, I have a Targus bluetooth mouse with a Targus dongle, it connects but the wheel doesn't work. Any suggestions? zenchicken
Most bluetooth dongles work with Mac OS X, my cheap 10 bucks one off eBay works like a charm... orion
Thank you... Yes it worked with another dongle and mouse... Specifically with SMC BT10 dongle and Logitech Bluetooth V270 mouse. So, I need to throw this Targus mouse and dongle in a garbage bin... Cheers.
