Does anyone know if this is possible. I am new at this please help! I recommend you search for your card and see if it has a mac firmware. Just look around and I promise you will find a Mac rom for that card. Theres more hacked ATi roms than Nvidia, but im sure there is a rom out there for it. Johnny Cactus Posted December 28, 2006 Share Posted December 28, 2006 I have a GeForce 3 that I flashed a few years back. The ti may or may not work. It may work without flashing. Probably not... I would look for a 5700 le on pricewatch or somewhere. The card is a budget version that nvidia uses a slower clock speed on. You can OC it to 5700 or 5700 ultra specs. GeForce 3 is a little slow these days. consolation Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 There is a GF3 ROM & instructions on strangedogs, and the card's been flashed successfully AFAIK. However, unless you want it for running OS9, there would be little benefit in using it on a G4. You'd be better off getting a cheap 9800pro, which is a straight flash with no hardware mods.
