-jordn- Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 hey there, i was wanting to know if anybody knows of or owns a supported wireless (802.11g) PCI card for the PC. now, before you guys flame the {censored} out of me and tell me to RTFF (Read The F**king Forum), i have. and the wiki. and i read about someone who bought a PCI card that said it was supported and it never worked, so i just thouht i'd ask and double check if somebody really did have a supported one. mdg Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 -jordn- Search for "buffalo" on this hardware forum. I own the card I posted there, in fact I bought 3 more just to have. It takes either 1 or 2 simple modifications (a kext and, maybe, a plist file depending on your rig) and voila! It shows up/is recongnized as Airport I have this card in 3 different computers/rigs, and it works with all.
