Rammjet
OSX on a Hackintosh cannot work with RAID. Get a separate hard drive for OSX. Try setting USB to legacy mode in BIOS, or for the installation, turn it off in BIOS and use a PS/2 mouse and keyboard. Hopefully, you can then re-enable USB after the installation is complete and set up. Zulu.Walker
Western Digital drives are also known to cause problems with REAL Macs. Dunno if it also applies to OSX86. Dunno if this also applies to your problem, but it's a thought. ddew
I have Mac OS X 10.4.9 working almost flawlessly on my E520, only thing not working is the onboard ethernet but I had a RTL819C lying around that sorted out networking. My tip for getting the install booting is to use the 10.4.8 Intel only reseed, that one installed just fine for me. Used AppleHDA patcher with a Sigmatel9227 dump to get the sound working and Natit to get my ATI X1300 working. Hope it helps. Dreadhead
well, i know its a old thread, but i hope for help :-) @ddew you said, that OSX is working on your E520. Do you have the same components, which i have? If so, could you do a dump (dd) of your partition and upload it anywhere? At another Thread they said that this could be working. We should give it a try. hope 2 get a response, Dreadhead Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36379-not-working-argh/#findComment-358916 Share on other sites
