XanthraX
Is someone else of you who encountered this problem? If I try to quit (including force quit) any of the Chromium clone browsers (Chrome, Thorium, Brave, Ulaa, Tor), they will auto-relaunch after one second. It is a bit annoying when one needs to reboot the system because of the dialog (Google Chrome interrupted restart...). I cannot figure out if it is because of the OS, or because of EFI. Thank you for reading. verdazil
@XanthraX, I experienced a similar issue with the Opera browser. The only solution was a complete reinstallation of the browser and clearing all traces of it from the system. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362713-macos-2641-%E2%80%93-cant-quit-the-chromium-based-browsers/#findComment-2849907 Share on other sites
Slice
Tor is not Chromium based. It is Firefox base. But I don't know what is your probable error. I have no such effect. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362713-macos-2641-%E2%80%93-cant-quit-the-chromium-based-browsers/#findComment-2849910 Share on other sites
XanthraX
Never happened to me until version 26.4.1. It is on both my hacks. I want to see if it happens after 26.5. I have only one extension on all of them, bitwarden password manager. My default browser is Orion. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362713-macos-2641-%E2%80%93-cant-quit-the-chromium-based-browsers/#findComment-2849932 Share on other sites
