RoboKingsCosmos
It only works on Windows/Linux (Usually Acceleration does) but it probably requires root patching to create a driver for open source side? I plan to keep it just incase Might use my radeon soon on my ryzen 5800x which is a match to my 3060 ti oc 8gb. just on amd only I kind of screwed around a bit but I managed to get the motherboard of the old 2017 imac out and saw there are two unoccupied slots of sodimm ram Yeah been tinkering for a while previously I couldn't get it out but recently I did after cleaning the water damage both that my desktop but the only ones not tinkered are my iMac 2019 and my MacBook Air 2020 M1 (May never know if I need one of them for recovery) fixed OpenCore DEBUG which I prefer over RELEASE because that one may provide more debugging than the release? Don't know what now but had to exclude OpenLegacy due to problems upon bootup not really needing acceleration yet i tested my nvidia once before switching to pascal it worked fine without acceleration Not sure if you guys read the new guide built on chefkiss.dev but I did it was certainly useful more than the old dortania one that never got updated but it links to the old one after all the steps I used mostly debug and development kexts and ensure that almost everything should be functional tethering etc incase it is needed. the only problem is no sound from both nvidias if booting OC. I used not only the necessary ones but just in case kexts too especially ForgedInvariant on Git. If there is any Ampere work right now hit me up I would like to hear the progress so far (if any). I was going to test my 3060 Ti on my real Mac via eGPU enclosure too. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/362446-should-i-keep-my-ampere-incase-it-becomes-metal-compatible/ Share on other sites
