luxinhaus Posted October 13, 2025 Share Posted October 13, 2025 (edited) I have a generic chinese mini motherboard socket 1150 with builtin half mini pcie slot. It came with a realtek wifi only card. I have atheros, intel & broadcom, all are combo (with bluetooth). All are guaranteed working, So i tested all of it. Now my issue is, i have tried all my available wifi combo cards on that motherboard and wifi works but bluetooth cannot be detected. Have tried booting into windows and linux but no avail. No option in bios. I even tried the PIN 20 & 51. Could it be that half mini pcie slot on that board has no connection for bluetooth? Is there such thing? Mac Hosehead Posted October 13, 2025 Share Posted October 13, 2025 If your mini-PCIe slot has no connection to USB 2 then no Bluetooth. You can add a USB Bluetooth dongle for Windows and Linux but it is tricky for hacks.
