A failed hardware check was causing macOS Tahoe installation attempts to be aborted, with Mac Studio users ultimately stuck on macOS Sequoia. ‌Mac Studio‌ users who were unable to install macOS Tahoe should now be able to. Yes disk was greyed out but have been using the same 7.1 supported smbios throughout my Tahoe jurney. nawcom Posted September 30, 2025 Share Posted September 30, 2025 (edited) Probably not a surprise, but I had to disable WhateverGreen for the process to complete, then turn it back on for my RX 560 to work correctly again, otherwise I didn't have a functional display. So, no different than installing 26.0.0, though oddly enough, I actually didn't have any WhateverGreen issues installing 26.0.0. Â Anyways, if you lock up around ACMTRM messages and use the kext, then it's most likely what's causing it.
