You're welcome. EDIT: @fgxr8 The old AppleALC.kext version is probably why patching AppleHDA didn't work for you. Also, now that you've installed VoodooHDA, you can tighten SIP by setting csr-active-config = <01000000>. You only need csr-active-config = <03080000> to install VoodooHDA.kext to /Library/Extensions, not after it is installed.
