I haven't tested the app in Tahoe, I'm using Sequoia and the screenshots I've posted are from Sequoia

I have the same beahviour on macOS Ventura and also in macOS Tahoe beta 4

let see if other users with an AMD system would like to test it and curious about that green circle :)

Search for Misc->Security->ExposeSensitiveData in your config.plist, change the value to 0x08 and see if the green circle will appear.

i used a greater than this value but no joy also with 0x08 here

however no problem and thank for your job

@Mirone and @fabiosun

Mine is set to 0x07 on my Z690 rig and Sequoia but I don't think that's relevant.

This is on Big Sur (MacBook Pro 2013), I don't use OpenCore so the absence of the indicator is as expected.

It works fine for me too, but you would have to look at what the command nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:boot-path returns or another alternative to get the EFI boot disk, perhaps through IOREG?

i see and it works also for MaLd0n so for this i asked if some others amd users have tested this app to see if it is a my problem or platform specific problem

Naming the efi solved my empasse to understand in which disk is my "booting EFI" so problem for me is solved and i use the app when i need with no problem the same

thank you

@Mirone setting as @Cyberdevs does his sensitive parameter (7) i see it

weird thing it happened also without mounting/unmounting that EFI

It shows correctly my opencore EFI

Nice!

The indicator should work when the app detects the boot path for OpenCore without the need to mount the EFI partition so that’s how it’s supposed to be.

I had been putting off the Easy Mount EFI update for quite some time. When I finally decided to resume development, I ran into an unexpected setback: my NVMe SSD failed, and I lost a significant portion of my projects.

Unfortunately, due to my own oversight, I didn't have an up-to-date backup, which made the loss even greater. It was a difficult experience, but certainly a valuable lesson.

Despite that, I was able to complete the new version of Easy Mount EFI, and it is now available for everyone to test.
