Impressive images with a huge amount of app customization, maybe too much. But just looking at the images makes me think "this person codes well" and nothing more. Perhaps I'm jealous of your capabilities.

Show your code on GitHub or here, or even via PM. I'd love nothing more than to see how you've built all those improvements.

Your new "Download Full Installer App" is really great. On my macOS Sequoia 15.3 (yes, I know I’m a bit behind because, I didn’t have much time to start my Ryzentosh in the past months), it finally also shows macOS Tahoe. All the other downloaders only went up to Sequoia. Good work!:thumbsup_anim:

I haven't added the release to GitHub yet, but it's already working in Brazilian Portuguese.

@miliuco For the style of your application, I prefer badge icons instead of apple icons.

The truth is, I've been using the icons from different macOS systems since the beginning, adding new systems as Apple released them.
But if you're interested and have the time, I'd be happy to see changes to this, to see if I like it better than the current one.

instead of having to manually choose different languages, I would suggest programming the tool so that it automatically uses the system language. That way, it would be directly available in the user’s language without extra settings. From a coding perspective, this is both easy to maintain and sustainable. Overall, a nice tool.

Another point is the stability of the download: what happens if the internet connection is interrupted for a short time? Does the download continue from where it stopped, or does it have to start over again? In my opinion, it would be best if the download, if technically possible could continue seamlessly.

I’m praying that my Wi-Fi doesn’t drop at the end. I’m only about 30% through the download:lol:

Thank you for the app. But I have a problem with it. On my both Hacks. I accomplish all requests (Sequoia 15.7 and command tools for xcode installed) but after the download is finished, it gets stuck here and not saves the InstallAssistant...pkg anywhere. It is probably lost somewhere in the temporary folders. If someone else got this and how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Hi

like this, Circle instead of Apple, but, I'm sorry, it's too much

Last night the same thing happened to me:
At about 70–75% of the download the Apple server stopped responding and the download was aborted.

So I copied the download link, pasted it into my download manager , and restarted the download from there. That way I was able to work around the problem.

Of course, the tool itself is not responsible for these issues. That’s why in my earlier comment I suggested that the code could be improved to work more like a download manager,

automatically handle connection interruptions (no matter the reason),

and when the Mac is restarted or shut down, resume the download from the point where it was stopped.

But the tool is already making great progress, really good work!

Hi

But you already have the code of

"About this Hack" the last one, which 0xCUB3 refused ('cause it was certainly too much)

"Enroll this Hack",

"ESP Mounter",

"Plist Editor",

remember, i send you all that via PM.

and ...

OCLP_Mod, 2 days ago, isn't-it?

"this person codes well" and nothing more -> "and nothing more," perhaps, but it's already something and not so bad.

Regards

PS : sorry, i'had forgotten, you have also "Download Full Installer" code (surely too old one)

@miliuco

For me it would be better to follow the Tahoe badge icon style and add a personal touch you see that the rendering has no default, no distortion of the images. Even in light mode.

The problem seems to be in my both Hackintoshes. I tried the app on my MBP 2015, Sequoia with OCLP and there the download worked like a charm and I could get it. That's why I asked if someone of you had the same problem and also found the culprit. It is not because of the app.

Try building the app yourself if you have Xcode

download the project

Hi

For my personal needs, I have improved this application (the one from scriptingosx (Armin Briegel)) and no other one.
Therefore, it is not industrialized and the code is therefore not free of bugs or malfunctions.

IT IS TO BE USED AS IS.

@Miliuco Oh nice my friend, thanks for language, you help a lot!! God bless you!!

Yes, automatic language recognition has been very important. I appreciate everyone’s efforts.

Yes, I've already found that if the internet connection is lost and returns after a while, the download doesn't recover and has to be restarted. I hadn't noticed this.
I'll try to add the required logic. I hope I can; it's well beyond my capabilities.

Regarding languages, the project has a second branch, old, that works the way you describe, detecting the system language so DownloadFullInstaller uses it or English as the default. There are versions available for download on the Releases page; they work from macOS 11 onward.
The truth is, I also use this app to learn Swift and SwiftUI and seeing SimpleLoader's multilanguage development I had the idea of learning how to develop a language selector of that kind. What started as an exercise ended up being a real joy, and I've kept it in the main branch, which runs on macOS Ventura and later. Perhaps because of how pretty the flag icons look 😂

@XanthraX

It has never happened to me before, I'll run some tests to see if I can find anything related to this, but all the downloads end up in the Downloads folder, and I've been using the app for years.

@Irish_Man

It's a very nice icon, but the way you've uploaded it, it can't be used as an Appicon. The size is fine (1024x1024 or 512x512), but it needs to have a transparent border on each side of approximately 10%. If you'd like to work on it, do so and show the result. And thanks!

@matxpa

This is a problem with non-native language. You know I'm Spanish, and I struggle to express myself with the same clarity in English. And some sentences probably don't exactly reflect what I mean.
I remember having those packages you mentioned sent to me by you, although it was a while ago. But the image of the app you posted above is quite different from that other one.
I meant to say that I really like seeing what you develop, of course. Your SwiftUI skills are amazing, but I like it even more when I can also see the code and learn directly from there.

Not to mention that DownloadFullInstaller made a big jump forward to version 2 thanks to your work, as can be read at the end of the README.

Added download resume functionality that automatically handles network interruptions. Tried on Tahoe starting a download, disabling the network interface and re-enabling it.

For sure, it is something in my systems. It worked fine on my MacBook Pro i7 2015 where I have installed Sequoia with OCLP. So I copied the downloaded installer on my both Hacks and will install it when an effective method is ready. Keep up the good work my friends.
