Unmm If you download the master

https://github.com/laobamac/OCLP-Mod/tree/multilingual  and run

"OCLP-Mod-GUI.command"

The language change works correctly.

I tried compiling via
"Build-Project.command" (I also tried leaving only wxPython in "requirements.txt").
The language change doesn't take effect.

The same thing happens if you download the already compiled PKG, which I linked above. ( actions )

@Anto65

I need the code and OCLP-Mod-GUI.command to work on the code and see the changes. This way it's working fine.
Building the app with Build-Project.command doesn't work for me, as for you. The same using the PKG.

@johnnyl

I had get a lot of help from many users, as most of us. Anyway, thanks for your acknowledgments.

@eSaF

Not the master, the multilingual branch.

This is what I do.

  1. Python 3.11 installed by brew
  2. Clone @laobamac_yyds repo to local disk: gh repo clone https://github.com/laobamac/OCLP-Mod
  3. Change to the local repo in Terminal: cd OCLP-Mod
  4. Set multilingual as working branch: git checkout multilingual
  5. Change wxpython line in requirements.txt (remove all but wxPython)
  6. Create python env: python3 -m venv oclp;source oclp/bin/activate;pip3 install -r requirements.txt (all python dependencies are installed in OCLP-Mod/oclp)
  7. Run: python3 OCLP-Mod-GUI.command

But I'm not sure that multilingual branch has latest updates for AppleHDA.

If python installed out of homebrew, skip line 1 and line 5 has only:

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Okay, let me clarify again, OCLP Mod does not actively detect HDA patches and USB patches because not everyone wants to install them, and it would be troublesome if enabled by default.For example, the ROG Z690-A does not require an HDA patch because ALC4080 is a USB sound card.

Therefore, if you want to use OCLP Mod for extremely easy patch installation, please check "Allow HDA patch installation" Or 'Allow installation of old USB patches' in the settings patch section.

Note:

our friends,@SatriaRadaman and @miliuco We are adapting to multiple languages and giving them some time. If there are any issues, please use the pre release version of the single language version of OCLP Mod first.

Best regards.

Put it in Italian, too ... even though I'm now familiar with Chinese 🤣

But does patching work for you?

It looks like our friend made some mistakes while switching languages .. Wait for them to fix it, or use the pre release Chinese version 3.0.0 first

It works from the pkg generated via
"Build-Project.command"     ( but here the language gets a little mixed up )

not from the master
"OCLP-Mod-GUI.command"

Maybe because Privileged-helpers are not installed 🤔 ?

I hate to say it but Tahoe has taken the joy out of the Hack scene for me especially knowing this is the last Intel offerin

:hysterical:  Why ?  I'm having a lot of fun patching with OCLP-MOD or MKI ... If Tahoe could talk , he'd tell me to go to hell. 😅

:lol: Bro I have already achieved the objective with the Chinese OCLP-Mod.

So this version with the Language change is not really earth shattering for me.

If it was coupled with regaining the function of my Fenvi T-919 then I would be more enthusiastic.

In saying all that, I am still adamant about the Apple cross over by December in ShaAllah.

It's clear now that all this will come to an end... but in the meantime, let's have some fun... let's try to end on a high note.

Please note that everything is still under development: language branches, Tahoe, etc., so we have to be patient.

I think sooner or later it will be possible to patch the BCMs too.

I replied to you here, but I didn't tag you, sorry... I don't like doing that

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether or not that was for me. Also, I wasn't sure which setting you were talking about. :D But yeah, that fixed it. Thank you.
