Hello everyone. I can't get the sound card to be recognized with VT-D enabled.
You will say, turn it off.
The problem is precisely this. By deactivating VT-D the system no longer recognizes the blackmagic intensity pro 4k card, I notice a drop in performance, with any layout-id the sound does not come out of the green connector but from one of the other connectors (depending on the layout-id), the low frequencies are low emphasized (unlike MS Win) and the audio is out of sync.
I tried various methods to patch HPET, to disable it, I tried various versions of AppleALC and tested all layouts compatible with the sound card but without success.

I also tried with VoodooHDA but that didn't work either.
I don't know what to do anymore. Help me. Thank you.

I attach the PC configuration, the bios configuration, the efi folder and the IORegistry report.

TEST this EFI folder

-Delete old EFI folder and paste new then empty trash. Don't use merge files.
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead.
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen.

If boot is fine save one ioreg https://olarila.com/files/Utils/IORegistryExplorer.app.zip

App returns "no audio codec detected!!"

I had analogues problem in my X79 system.

Above 4G decoding: Disabled

This is strange and has no explanation but confirmed by other users.

I'm doing some tests with the two MaLd0n' EFIs.
With VT-D ON and 4G decoding ON, no audio and no Intensity Pro 4K.
With VT-D ON and 4G decoding OFF, no audio and no Intensity Pro 4K, but the first EFI won't boot the system.
With VT-D OFF and 4G decoding ON, audio ok, synchronized with the video, all high and low audio frequencies excellent, but still no Intensity Pro 4K.
With this smbios and VT-D off the PC performance seems good (compared to iMacPro1,1).
With both EFIs at the first boot the system freezes during loading, almost always like in the attached photo, then it restarts and starts.

I installed old blackmagic drivers and now the intensity pro 4k card works.

With the new driverkits I had to have vt-d active, however with the .kext version the card works even with vt-d deactivated.

Now what do you recommend for the definitive efi folder? You told me I had to use the last efi folder to carry out the tests... should I go back to the efi022 folder?

You should edit DMAR.aml table and then VT-d set to ON.

VT-d problems in macOS

from the first configuration that I attached you can see that the reserved memory regions are no longer present in the DMAR table and the audio did not work anyway.

Unless you're referring to some other modification to the DMAR table, but from the link you shared I don't see anything different... am I wrong?
