Hi everyone,

I successfully installed and booted macOS Ventura on my HP elitedesk 8300 SFF with I7 3770 ivybridge processor using opencore.

Macos venture boot up very well after the installation but the intel IGPU HD 4000 is not recognized which causes the mouse to be laggy and the graphics to be poor.

I have tried everything using the little knowledge i have to correctly configure the EFI so that the HD 4000 integrated graphics would be recognize without success.

I am sharing my EFI folder so that a kind soul could Fix this issue .

Thank you in advance,

Best,

Minie

Hi, @verdazil

Thank you for your response. I did that after a long struggle trying to disable SIP and amfi I somehow managed to run OCLP which patch the EFI but then macOS ventura boot got stuck on some kext verbose issues and did not boot at all.

I therefore reverted to my working EFI

I really don't know anything about the debug verbose of opencore has I am new to this I will do a research on it. I just hope that someone with my config [i7 3770 (ivy bridge) with igpu 4000 HD on a HP elitedesk] could share their working EFI or someone with the know how would fix my included EFI.

Please help.

Thank you in-advance

By the way for those with a HP elite desk 8300 this EFI works great with Ventura and i guess Sonoma if you have one of those Radeon GPU recognized out of the box by macOS.

So this is a great little gift from me to the world.

I wish my samaritan genius would Fix it for me so that I don't have to spend $200 on a GPU.

Can anyone help me?

You must create a signature.

And provide please details what is wrong. Screenshot? Logs? As well as your config.plist and list of used kexts.

@mini m8spro

  1. Your device properties for the iGPU are lacking additional properties
  2. You config requires additional kexts and settings to run macOS Ventura properly
  3. Ivy Bridge requires post-install root patches performed with OpenCore Legacy Patcher

You can follow my guide to update your config and EFI folder: https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/blob/main/14_OCLP_Wintel/Guides/Ivy_Bridge.md

Did you ever figure this out? If so, can you provide your efi folder?
