Hi! My external audio FireWire card is seen in Monterey opencore. But audio signal don t pass in the internal mixer of osx. In dude1 all works but in open core legacy patcher no. Can you tell me the modification I have to do in open core in order it works? Thanks a lot for your support.

Have you any driver for the firewire audio? I had an experience with such card but a long time ago. The driver needs to set SIP disabled for kext checking.

I run Monterey on my MacPro5,1 without OCLP. You do not need OCLP .... just OpenCore.

Try configuring OpenCore manually as described here.

You can find preconfigured Opencore configs in a related thread here if you have an AMD GPU.

Once you have that running, you can then add your firewire driver to that config.

Ask in those threads where others may have already used the same external firewire audio card.
