jalavoui
with this OC setting test: sysctl -a you should get kern.hv_vmm_present: 1 machdep.cpu.features: VMM side effect: system seems faster this OC setting will no longer work: Edited October 11 by jalavoui

Shaneee
Confirmed working on my AMD setup. What are the advantages to this though?
cankiulascmnfye
No need to do this. If you need the board-id VMM spoof, just add RestrictEvents and boot-arg sbvmm=sbvmm. This spoof is only needed on systems with disabled SIP using an SMBIOS of macs with a T2 chip so System Update Notifications work.
