Huawei D15 Intel i3 11 gen (1115G4)

Hi Everyone, please may anyone assist. I am experiencing some boot issues after the OC selection.

The main error is RT.GV Wake Failure, unfortunately i cant post any pictures. I have attached the config.plist.

Any ideas ? (According to the sanity checker, there are no faults).

Thanks in advance.

Hi - It would be more helpful if you zipped you entire EFI Folder and upload it here after removing your personal data i.e S/N, ROM etc. List the full specs of your machine i.e what Graphics Card if any installed or graphics integrated CPU. Although the posted Config.plist is helpful, it is only half way there for members to perhaps give a proper possible solution to the problem.

PS - OC 0.6.6 is too old you need the latest version from here - https://dortania.github.io/builds/?product=OpenCorePkg&viewall=true

Thanks.

I noticed this and ignored it due to no sanity checker I could find for the latest version of OC. Or has something changed in the means of checking the plist's ?

As per your suggestion, I have downloaded Opencore 0.8.8 as I managed to find a sanity check here: https://sanitychecker.ocutils.me/

Now I am experiencing an error "Invalid Vault Mode". I have checked and carried out the required actions as stated in Dortania's Guide, However this hasn't resolved this issue for me.

Once again any input is appreciated, thank you.

@ciruis Sorry mate, even if you get to successfully pass the boot process, this machine has no native support in macOS, unfortunately. Context: Last supported x86 architecture in macOS (before Apple transitioned to Apple Silicon) was 10th gen. Ice Lake processors, and as such no drivers exist in macOS to support the newer Xe graphics (iGPU) architecture.

The only way you'll probably have any luck installing macOS on this machine is either in VESA mode (no GPU acceleration) or in a VM.

Thanks for the info, saved me a lot of time and frustration :)
