I am using the OpenGL.Framework from Apple's 10.4.8 Combo..thats the only one which give me working QE/CI ..anyways, when the acceleration is on, Quicktime doesnt play .mp4 or h.264 content at all. No other player except VLC Intel build are working good with video. I would like to know how many users with SSE2 + QE/CI are experiencing this same ...

My Graphics card info shown in this picture:

Here is a small .mp4 video for example that shows the bug i'm talking.

Mine non working setup gives me these results like this:

Please report your results too.

Btw, if you have same errors like me, it should play OK with VLC Intel build found here:

http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/macosx-intel/ (use the latest branch versions).

Saw your video on YouTube. Pleaaase tell me how you got your 6600GT working with QE/CI exactly. I'm still quite a newbie so the more information you can give me the better :). First time I see someone with the same card running with QE/CI enabled, starts to give me hope now :).

I've got like almost the exact same computer.

Edit: Oh so you just only changed the OpenGL.Framework to the one in the package from the 10.4.8 official Mac package?

So which installation did you start off what and upgraded to?

I assume you started from a 10.4.7 or 10.4.6 then used the 10.4.8 update with the b9 kernel and then used the exp6. Then you only replaced the OpenGL.Framework with the one from the official Apple release and it worked without Titan or Natit?

I've got a working install right now with Exp6 10.4.8 already replaced the OpenGL.Framework with the official one from Apple but didn't make a difference. I'll now try to add Titan or Natit.

Edit: Just got Titan correctly in the Extensions Folder, its loaded, but doesn't enable QE/CI. There must be something that you have done which you didn't say :).

My 6600GT is just like wow's 6600GT recognised as a 256MB, maybe that's the problem. You had that also?

Please johto, reply, you were on YouTube :). Excited on getting this working :) .

IT WORKS!!! WOOHOOOO :)!

Look up ChiefWiggum's post with the search typing OpenGL.Framework in one of the topics in OSX86Installation. Follow his things correctly, repair permissions of the Titan.kext and you'll have full QE/CI.

I love you johto and Chiefwiggum ^^.
