check that the folder on your USB is named "com.apple.recovery.boot" on the root of your USB. inside this folder should be 2 files that you downloaded from OC (macOS recovery download via the python script that is provided ).

Yeah, Checked it and download it a couple of times

And do you want to install macOS using a recovery image? You can check the official OC documentation

I don't know if this is pertinent to your particular problem, maybe I am way off the mark and talking rubbish but if my old brain serves me well I think Apple changed the format file in the middle of High Sierra from what it was before to APFS which caused a bit of confusion, lengthy or failed installs as it then had to convert the formatted drive to APFS. Hope I haven't added confusion to your problem as from your description, the machine is not seeing the install residing on the USB Drive. If the problem is not a USB Port or the USB Drive (try another USB Drive) maybe the formatting of the Drive is suspect.

Currently, I have no other USB's so, i am going to make the opencore usb again but in my previous hackintosh netbook

i will get back to you if it works

I actually some how got the opencore to pickup my usb drive by using opencore 0.8.7 instead of 0.8.8

but still when i click on my usb drive it gets stuck

Atleast one problem is fixed

let me try yosemite and mavericks maybe that will work for this old machine
