Allan
And do you want to install macOS using a recovery image? You can check the official OC documentation DMG loading Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/355247-opencore-stuck-when-i-chose-the-dmg-file/#findComment-2799599 Share on other sites
Shibby Shaggy
check that the folder on your USB is named "com.apple.recovery.boot" on the root of your USB. inside this folder should be 2 files that you downloaded from OC (macOS recovery download via the python script that is provided ). Allan
You're selecting the USB via BIOS boot options right? Did you tried selecting the USB stick at the BIOS menu? Hope I haven't added confusion to your problem as from your description, the machine is not seeing the install residing on the USB Drive. If the problem is not a USB Port or the USB Drive (try another USB Drive) maybe the formatting of the Drive is suspect. Currently, I have no other USB's so, i am going to make the opencore usb again but in my previous hackintosh netbook i will get back to you if it works Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/355247-opencore-stuck-when-i-chose-the-dmg-file/#findComment-2799713 Share on other sites
