XanthraX
Hi, It is only a cosmetic thing. I want to not see this screen during the boot. Is it a boot argument or a setting to hide it? Thank you in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/354791-how-to-hide-the-opencore-log-during-performing-the-boot/ Share on other sites
STLVNUB
You Need To Edit The config.plist And Take Out The -v 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/354791-how-to-hide-the-opencore-log-during-performing-the-boot/#findComment-2797283 Share on other sites

makk
FYI <> IYF if the Lablel on OpenCore download Zip file says Debug that's what it do, debug, lots of text scrolling on boot. also you can turn off by setting debug value in config.plist to 0 <-Zero if you like to see text scrolling less. with Graphical you can view the log file after boot up. Hackintool simle pleasures.  Graphical or TextMode your choice. Remove -v in boot arguments then you have Graphical boot with the Apple Logo to look at. TextMode put in -v for verbal output. Debug is set to 67. If you like lesser use 3 small value. Set to 0 you get normal text scrolling. with some OC stuff.
