supermike
Hi everyone. I'm trying to set up this T490, as many others have done in the past. I just can't get iGPU acceleration to work. I can boot into the OS with no device-id in my config.plist, without acceleration of course. If I set the device-id, no matter what, I end up on this garbled Apple logo and the system freezes. Platform ids and device-ids tried: - 00009B3E (9B3E0000 device-id): this is the one that everyone uses with this laptop in this configuration; - 0900A53E (A53E0000 device-id); - 00001619 (16190000 device-id) And a combination of those. I also tried multiple framebuffer memory patches, from 32MB to 59MB, in various configurations. Nothing works. The issue persists with Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura. Everything else works perfectly. Do you have any idea? Here is my current config.plist, using latest version of OpenCore and every kext is updated. Thank you! config.plist
Slice
Boot verbose, i.e. with boot-args=-v See messages on screen. May be you will see the reason for failure.
supermike
This is after the verbose boot stage. It loads the graphics driver, shows the cursor and crashes immediately. I can't find a way to know what's happening
