leslieking
I get Firefox 2 from www.mozilla.com but run as PPC application. Please see this screenshot: http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/1764/picture2oq8.png What I need to do to run an Intel version of Firefox 2 ? I don't see a link on Mozilla site to download an Intel version. Any idea or help? Thanks! Mr. Bond
From what I can gather, all Firefox 2.0 builds are unibins. Have you check the the Application Info in Finder to see if you've forced it to run under Rosetta/Translate/Whatever the hell we call it now? leslieking
Rosseta is not enabled for Firefox. If not enabled sometimes crash. Why ? Because "About Firefox windows" say I use a PPC Version. I use the universal dmg. But every time Firefox see my OSX86 as PPC. Any idea to solve this? Dellius
Firefox is no good. Camino is far more simple and better at least for me. It displays pages faster and better and has all the great features of FF. IT_Slave
I have also experienced very bad performance under FireFox 2.0. It took forever to load pages. I installed an older version - 1.5.0.8 and that seems to work much better. I know its not 2.0, but I like it better than Safari!! skwij
2.0 working fine here, Universal Binary installed. Fast, fast, fast! Try uninstalling, then redownloading and reinstalling, you won't lose your settings etc as they are stored in your Profile, not in Ffx itself.
