Hello,

I am trying to install macOS Big Sur on my PC using OpenCore, but attempts to boot into the bootloader of the system are unsuccessful.

When compiling the EFI folder, I used the installation guide on the Dortania. The system installer was downloaded from the App Store on my last computer with High Sierra.

I hope for your help, I attach the efi folder and the error when downloading.

My hardware:

CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K

Motherboard: MSI Z590-A PRO

GPU: GIGABYTE RX 580 GAMING

Thank you in advance.

I replaced the EFI folder, but now the disk with the system installation is not displayed. Perhaps I configured the bios incorrectly, because on the old PC all the disks are visible with this EFI folder and even High Sierra is running, the Big Sur installer is also running on the old PC.

-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB

-If you have only IGPU use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation

-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files

-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead

-Reset NVRAM one time - OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / Clover use F11 key on boot screen

U can use rocket lake efi folder with bios/uefi in default settings

-Desktop RocketLake Download HERE

Thanks to Alan and MaLd0n, I was able to install macOS Big Sur! I haven't set up anything yet, maybe something doesn't work, but the main thing is that the system boots from the SSD and there is port Ethernet. I plan to put Monterey on later, although this is not necessary. Thanks again!
