Aria Ciel
Good afternoon. I've installed macOS Monterrey 12.4 on my PC and most things are working (Audio, Ethernet, QE/CI, iMessage), however one thing I've noticed is that when the CPU is put under stress it doesn't consume up to the desired value (125W) staying around ~100W, compared to Windows which does stay around 125W under load and therefore is able to perform better. Is there any way to fix this issue? I've tried playing with CPUFriendFriend and have generated a SSDT-PLUG for my build. HW: Intel Core i5 11400F MSI b560m PRO-VDH (PL1 set to 125W) macOS 12.4 Monterrey with MacPro7,1 SMBIOS Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/352501-cpu-power-consumption-under-load-on-macos-doesnt-hit-pl1-set-in-bios/ Share on other sites
