arsenalsam7
link "This computer is also dual bootable with the developer version of Apple's OS X Tiger operating system and runs it flawlessly as well as most mac apps. Please note that the operating system is not installed at present so you will have to purchase that on your own but an apple pro keyboard is included in the auction (new with box). Fuzzlet
"I hae loaded this computer up with a ton of software like Windows xp professional (SP2), Adobe CS2, Vegas Video, Doom 3, Reason & more that you will need to remove once it arrives." Metrogirl
He he - this is an amusing twist on selling pirated software via hardware which happens to have stuff preloaded. You can find hard disk drives on ebay described as 'full install package of (insert your fav. high-price software) was previously loaded on this drive, you'll have to erase this yourself" or more subtle hints. Which is, of course, completely contrary to most licensing schemes and probably illegal too. I wonder if the seller is including his genuine Nero serial? More likely a keygen'd copy. Interesting that this guy is using alleged OSx86 compatibility as a feature to sell his machine. I wonder if it is one of our group who became disenchanted and is selling up? Or maybe he solved all the problems and it really does work!

blahsucks
Metrogirl: It appears that the guy was too lazy/cowardly to even get OSx86 on there. "Alleged compatibility" is just that. Seems that he heard of us somewhere and ran with it. It's almost like selling a software box and saying that "you can put the CD in there." williedigital
i sold an osx86 loaded box on ebay. I figured ebay would catch me and stop it but they didnt. i dont think it really helped the selling price much. went for about the going rate for that machine. jbettcher
That price is outrageous, I built my current computer that is much faster than that with a bigger better samsung 19" screen for around $1500 CDN. Pentium D 830 (which is the dual core) 1GB PC4200 DDR2 (2x512 Dual Channel) ASUS PL5D2-Deluxe Motherboard 945P chipset 4xSATA, 2 ATA, Firewire, USB 2.0, Intel High Definition Sound 2xGeforce 6600GT SLI PCI-E 2x160gb SATA Drives LG 16x DVD Burner Nice Antec 1050B Case (sleek and black 500W 2.0 PS) SAMSUNG SyncMaster 997MB I could go back and build this system for cheaper now than I did a month ago, so I know for a fact that this guy is BSing that it's an amazing machine and it no sluff. I could've built a much higher end machine but I had no need for anything more than I got which is still substantially more than this guy is selling here for $1150 (USD)starters.
