Hey @aden probably this is the last time I am posting and I want to enable wifi on my hackintosh so I need to disable sip in my hackintosh. How do I boot into recovery mode with opencore? When I choose the pen drive from my boot options , it directly boots without any asking further. Or is there any other way I can disable sip in opencore. Please help

Hey @aden , you have worked wonders. don't know how but trackpad's working and wifi too. i have a layout id for my sound chip , how should i apply it so as to make sound work. layout-id =22. Also i used your great efi (FYI). May you support everyone like this. Thanks a lot. Also all the gestures and functions are working on the trackpad but only right click is not working. is this issue solvable because right click is necessary for my work......

working :

everything except bluetooth and sound and right click.

Yea, I removed the previous patches and made it more compatible for your trackpad; the support will, unfortunately, be generic/limited given the proprietary state of your trackpad, this is as far as it'll go for your trackpad sadly; other users too experience the same issues as you.

As for the layout-id, carefully review this list below and try the various layout-id listed here, you should be able to find one that works for your respective codec. More convenient to utilize boot-arg flag: alcid=xx especially in scenarios when trying to figure out codec IDS: https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs

Use this EFI, it should activate Bluetooth, possibly your right click and audio as well (try various other ids with help of boot-arg: alcid=xx)

You're welcome and hope you enjoy macOS on your machine!

EDIT: Use the updated EFI, forgot to add the BT kexts lol

Hey @adenstill audio , bluetooth and right click is not working. Output and input is showing but no sound is coming.  Can toggle Bluetooth but it doesn't show any devices. I can change the sound bar but no sound comes. Right click still doesn't work

@aben*** also when I edit anything in the config.plist , it doesn't show any effect....don't know why

Hey bro,

My bad for overlooking this key mandatory requirement with regards to Bluetooth on macOS - you'll need to map/configure your notebook's USB table to be compatible with macOS specifications, the process which can only be done from your end so please put in little effort and try your best to understand how and why USB mapping is fundamental for macOS and its USB related operations, especially for Bluetooth functionality (BT module always attaches to USB rails on hackintosh systems however the port requires mapping to Internal type 255). Instructions for the same are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. These two guides below should most certainly sort you out:

For audio issues, as advised earlier, you'll first need to find what kind of audio device is equipped with your machine. Each system sometimes has its own audio codec layout-id so follow the link shared above to find the right id.

Also, please understand, some Elan 1200+ devices has limited support on macOS at the moment, as far as I'm aware. The issues you are facing are common among other Elan trackpad users...unless someone else on the forum who actually has experience with these devices can help resolve these for you. Maybe wait for the developers to fix the issues so lookout for any newer releases either from the VoodooI2C team or Acidanthera's VoodooPS2Trackpad. If I were you, I'd try and adjust with a mouse for the time being. Welcome to hackintosh life ;)

Hey @aden, I did the USB ports mapping still Bluetooth is not working , sound started working and right click still not there , pls help me. Bluetooth showing in hackintool USB section but when I enable bluetooth , nothing shows.....

If Bluetooth is an absolute must for your hackintosh, then you will need to either:

  1. Roll back to Big Sur for better Bluetooth compatibility (Highly doubt your Bluetooth device will ever work on Monterey) OR
  2. Swap internal Wifi/BT combo card to DW1820A or BCM94360NG if you must require Bluetooth + latest macOS Monterey on your hackintosh.

Since you mentioned this is just a hobby, I guess point 1 should suit you best.

Ok @aben, I sincerely thank you for all your support and help. Bye

Will follow the steps.

Also , do you know any of the ways by which I can switch from opencore debug to release since the boot time is a bit slow. Any help would heartily appreciated....

First, get the latest RELEASE build here: https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/releases/download/0.7.9/OpenCore-0.7.9-RELEASE.zip

Second, replace essentials:

  • BOOTx64.efi from BOOT folder
  • OpenCore.efi from OC folder
  • OpenRuntime.efi and OpenHfsPlus.efi from OC -> Drivers folder (If other non-essential drivers are being used, replace accordingly)

Thirdly, ensure your config.plist structure is compliant with current OC release to avoid possible boot issues. You may use ocvalidate tool (found under OpenCore -> Utilities folder) to validate and find any discrepancies with your current config.plist. Utilize the Sample.plist provided in the RELEASE build under DOCS folder as reference to replace/add any missing keys found by ocvalidate. Further guidance on this can be found here under section 4: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/update.html#_4-compare-your-config-plist-to-that-of-the-new-sample-plist
