M0N Posted March 28, 2022 Share Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) Dear Expert, I have installed Big Sur 11.0 on my NEC VersaPro with OpenCore 0.7.9 bootloader. Everything works fine but some 3 issues: No trackpad in the System Preferences. Finger click does not work but physical trackpad click is OK. I just can scroll up/down and left/right No battery status icon on the Menu Bar No memory (RAM) info on About Mac Here is some specs of my laptop Intel Core i3 4000M 2.40 GHz Intel HD Graphics 4600 4GB RAM LAN Realtek PCI-e WiFi Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 (please tell me if it is compatible with Big Sur) Sound Realtek ALC282 (please tell me what layout I can put at boot arguments. This moment I use VoodooHDA.kext) ELAN PS/2 trackpad Anyone can do me a favor, please? M0N Posted March 31, 2022 Author Share Posted March 31, 2022 Thanks for your EFI. I also tried another EFI (Olarila Opencore Notebook Haswell) and all the above issues vanished. Yeah, actually my trackpad is not 100% fixed because I just can`t use it to drag and move file/folder. I should use the physical button to do that. Any suggestion to make it fully work?
