Dear Expert,

I have installed Big Sur 11.0 on my NEC VersaPro with OpenCore 0.7.9 bootloader. Everything works fine but some 3 issues:

  1. No trackpad in the System Preferences. Finger click does not work but physical trackpad click is OK. I just can scroll up/down and left/right
  2. No battery status icon on the Menu Bar
  3. No memory (RAM) info on About Mac

Here is some specs of my laptop

  • Intel Core i3 4000M 2.40 GHz
  • Intel HD Graphics 4600
  • 4GB RAM
  • LAN Realtek PCI-e
  • WiFi Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 (please tell me if it is compatible with Big Sur)
  • Sound Realtek ALC282 (please tell me what layout I can put at boot arguments. This moment I use VoodooHDA.kext)
  • ELAN PS/2 trackpad

Anyone can do me a favor, please?

Attached my EFI

Problems are solved

Thanks for your EFI. I also tried another EFI (Olarila Opencore Notebook Haswell) and all the above issues vanished.

Yeah, actually my trackpad is not 100% fixed because I just can`t use it to drag and move file/folder. I should use the physical button to do that.

Any suggestion to make it fully work?
