Hi Bros!

Monterey is very very slow and laggy.
Anyone helps me to optimize it, please!

I upgraded my Mac from:

10.13 (High Sierra) => 10.14 (Mojave) => 10.15 (Catalina) => 11.0 (Big Sur) => now 12.0 (Monterey)
I installed lastest VMware tool here:

My Laptop: Dell precision 7530
Processor:    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8850H CPU @ 2.60GHz   2.59 GHz
Installed RAM:    48.0 GB

Graphics:

  • Intel UHD Graphics 630
  • NVDIA Quadro P1000

Widows 11 Enterprise.

Did you already consider doing a clear install, or installing the macOS on the drive instead of using a VM?

Thank for reply.

I mostly work on Windows. I only install MacOS on VM for software testing purposes (sometimes).

I did a clear install from the Monterey iso file (on VM), but it's still very slow and laggy.

Can you give me any link or guide for optimizing the config file?
